Sevenoaks Wood Floor

We attended a property in Sevenoaks, Kent to sand and Magic Oil an oak kitchen floor and hallway
The kitchen had greasy spillages in front of the stove and dirty flooring in front of the sink unit also a damp patch that was very old but left on the floor with a black mark near the back door
We started in the kitchen after carrying out tests using the MMS2 machine
After sanding three quarters away with 60 grit, the Spider stopped – no power at all – went through the motions of fuses, plug, sockets, RCD, etc… but still no machine working
A quick call to Stuart at Pallmann who told me where the nearest repair centre was for us which happened to be 10 miles away
I drove down there and left the machine and Stuart kindly arranged to meet me later that day to lend me his Spider
Apart from edges, there wasn’t much more we could do so lost half of a day
I immediately called Terry O’Gilford to order a spare mains lead in case it was that and always good to carry one
I received a call late afternoon the same day to tell me that my machine was ready for collection – great service from Delta Tools in South Croydon – it turned out to be a break in the lead and the Spider was all ok!!
We continued next day and finished the job leaving a great looking oiled floor and a happy and understanding customer!!
